This is a reanimated film in the same vein as Shrek Retold, in that the audio was entirely redone, and the artists could deviate slightly from their original scenes. Erica Kukoski created the backgrounds and came up with the Woody dakimakura gag, and I animated and colored “Buzz #2”.

2021 Animation Reel
My most recent demo reel, containing almost ten years worth of my best work.
8-Bit Zodiac Collection
This series began as a monthly challenge to create a GIF for each zodiac sign. I used the characters and concepts from my 2017 zodiac illustrations, and attempted to bring them to life, loosely obeying the limitations of NES graphics. I wanted the signs’ actions to reflect their modality: cardinal signs travel in a path, fixed signs remain in place, and mutable signs go with the flow.

8-Bit Beast’s Haunted House Fusion Collab
This was a collaboration with the YouTube community SiIvaGunner. In 2019 we were responsible for a bonus track for the ChipWIN album 8-Bit Best, in which we spliced together various video game style imitations of 8-Bit Beast’s Haunted House. For Halloween of 2020, we released visuals for the track, and revised the audio, adding more segments and fine-tuning some sections.
Many of the character sprites were existing video game sprites which I silhouetted and resized, and some were done from scratch. I was responsible for the beast’s graphics, the environments, most of the logo swaps, and compiling the entire thing. I also animated the Atmospheric and Caramelldansen segments in Flash.
Sonic Rebuilt
This was a re-animated compilation organized by 3GI, where various artists recreated the 1996 Sonic the Hedgehog OVA. I worked on two segments, one with Erica Kukoski, and one solo. For our segment, Erica created the backgrounds, and I was responsible for the character animation.
Kirby Reanimated Collab
The source for this reanimated collaboration was Kirby: Right Back at Ya! – Episode 49: Cartoon Buffoon. The project was organized by Roya Shahidi. In the episode, King Dedede has the inhabitants of Popstar work frantically to create a cartoon pilot, resulting in vastly different art styles; much like the collaboration itself.
For my shot, I tried to imitate the art style from modern Kirby games. The “scribble” joke is meant to reference Dedede’s sprite in Kirby’s Dream Land.
Shrek Retold
This was a large collaboration, organized by 3GI. The entirety of the first Shrek movie was rewritten, re-recorded, and re-animated, and presented at Shrekfest in 2018. For my segment (and the segment following mine, by LarryInc64) Shrek was voiced by Chaze the Chat, and Donkey was voiced by me.
Freddy Freaker (NES Style)
I made this when the Freddy Freaker commercial was still a popular meme. I tried to make Freddy and the background follow the graphical limitations of the NES.
Kipper ‘n’ Bits
This was made for the gaming channel Kipper ‘n’ Bits, to be played before each episode. I was responsible for the rough character animation and all of the background elements, and Erica Kukoski designed the characters and inked and colored all of the character frames.
Mama Luigi Reanimate Collab
The source for this reanimated collab was Super Mario World – Episode 13: Mama Luigi. It was organized by Andrew W. Dickman.
My shot was pretty straightforward. It was a wide-screen, high definition interpretation of the original shot, with brighter colors and more frames of animation. I tried to make Wiggler resemble its more canonical artwork, and had Yoshi move a little bit, compared to the original shot.
